Unfortunately, no information of the people or the exact times of the footage. Based on the early Holdens condition mid to late 60s'. Later parts of the video suggest 70s. Was informed that some of that mining was at the mineral springs but very difficult to tell. Great to see the footage of Martin Street and the Blackwood Hotel so many years ago. Just one hour from Melbourne, not far from Daylesford and Ballarat, The Garden of St Erth is a stunning garden tucked away in a bushland setting close to the town of Blackwood. Blackwood was a gold rush town, and the gardens are home to an historic stone cottage. We visited on a summer weekday: the weather was warm and perfect for a cheese platter for lunch.

Swimming in Shaws Lake near Blackwood in the Lerderderg State Park including an overview of the picnic area, a walk along the dam wall, an example of how to get into the water, and some temperature readings to explore why my feet felt so cold but my hands did not when swimming.
